課程概述

In the second semester of Freshman English we will continue using a combined-skills approach but with more emphasis on speaking & listening.

課程目標
The goal of this class is to continue building on the students' foundation of English, to strengthen the four language skills and allow students to confidently communicate with the wider world and express themselves to their own satisfaction. It is hoped that students will take control of their own learning and continue to improve their English long after the class is over.
課程要求
Each class is 3 hours once a week. You need to come to class on time and stay for the whole period to pass the course.
Participation is actively participating in all class activities whether they be speaking, listening, reading or writing; pair work, small group, whole class or individual work in your seat. Doing work from other classes or having textbooks from other classes open in this class; sleeping, playing games on your cell phone or speaking Chinese instead of using English is not active participation. Students who do those things will fail this course no matter how good their test grades are.
